The DVV series returns on Saturday for the Soudal Hotondcross in Ronse. Ronse is not the most epic course out there, but it has a history of producing fantastic racing. In 2017, Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert were locked in a race-long battle trading attack after attack with neither rider able to gain an upper hand. With two laps to go, Lars van der Haar took advantage of the stalemate between the two favorites to ride clear to victory.

The third round of the 2019 - 2020 DVV series was a unique scene for a Belgian cyclocross race. Instead of sprawling rutted fields in the wintery countryside, riders raced in the shadows of high rise apartment buildings, across bridges and past bars and restaurants. Urban Cross is a brand new race that the DVV series unveiled along the Leie River in Kortrijk, Belgium. 

The DVV Trofee unveiled a brand new cyclocross course on Saturday in Kortrijk, Belgium. The course was aptly named “Urban Cross” as it jumped from bank to bank of the Leie River incorporating bridges, roundabouts, criterium-like paved sections and long straightaways, on top of a healthy mix of mud and sand.

On Saturday November 30th the DVV series will take to a brand new course in Kortrijk for its third installment of the 2019 - 2020 season. Eli Iserbyt has a comfortable lead of 1 minute and 54 seconds ahead of Michael Vanthourenhout in the time based series. 

In Tabor and Hamme, Annemarie Worst defined herself as the rider to beat in the elite women’s field. Both Yara Kastelijn and Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado have won big races this year, but Worst was impressive in winning both the Tabor World Cup and the second round of the DVV Trofee series, Flandriencross. It was a busy weekend for European cyclocross racers as they spent Saturday racing at the World Cup in Tabor, Czech Republic, before rushing back to Belgium for Flandriencross in Hamme. The course provides one of the most classic races of the season and is the second race in the DVV Trofee series.
