The 72nd Tour de Romandie returns for a six-day stage race through the narrow roads, rolling hills, and Alpine mountains of Switzerland’s French-speaking Romandy region on April 24-29. The UCI WorldTour event has been held each year since 1947 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Swiss Cycling Federation.
Taking place soon after the one-day Ardennes Classics wrap up, the Tour de Romandie also marks an important shift in attention to multi-stage racing for the many teams and riders that have their sights on the Giro d’Italia in May.
