Ashton Lambie Vs. Filippo Ganna, The Quirkiest Rivalry In Professional Cycling

Ashton Lambie, a former gravel racer from the American Midwest is in the crosshairs of time trial world champion Filippo Ganna ahead of track worlds.

Ganna, the Italian superstar riding for Ineos Grenadiers recently saw his individual pursuit world record fall to Ashton Lambie at the Aguascalientes velodrome. The mismatched duo have collectively broken the world record seven times since 2018, lowering the time by an astonishing ten seconds.

At the 2021 UCI Track World Championships, the disparate worlds of Lambie and Ganna will once again collide in the 4-minute event in which they are so uncannily matched.
